On the idea there will be catastrophe after August 2 if the Debt Ceiling is not raised, Palin said she is not convinced that will happen. She slammed Obama as “shameful” for threatening not to pay soldiers or seniors if he does not get what he wants.

Julianne Moore to play Sarah Palin

We here at Pop Culture Fashionista have a slight girl crush on the lovely Julianne Moore.  We admire her beauty, her accomplishments, and for her choices in films.  Moore has been cast as former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in HBO’s film Game Change.  The film will follow the John McCain presidential run, from his choosing of Palin for his running mate, to his defeat in the 2008 election. The film will be directed by Jay Roach who is known for directing the Austin Powers movies, Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers.  The move will be based on the novel of the same name by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin and the script will be written by Danny Strong. No word on any others cast in the film.
